USMS Top Ten Index

This is a new feature of the Top Ten on-line. The Top Ten performance history of most Top Ten swimmers can be found here. Select year of birth, then scan down the page for the desired name, and find the performance history of any one of 10,547 Top Ten swimmers. "#1 Swimmer" usually means "All-American", but sometimes we announce someone as a "#1 Swimmer" before the national office names them "All-American". The identification information given is birthday (yymmdd), name, city, state, LMSC, club, and sex. Performance data includes the total number of Top Ten swims (in all years 1993 and since) and the number of Top Ten swims in each published report. Links to All-American web pages and to special awards are also included here if applicable. One of the reasons for making this index available is so that errors in the identification of Top Ten swimmers will be discovered.
